A female pedestrian has been rushed to hospital Thursday afternoon after being struck in a hit-and-run collision.
Officers and paramedics were called to Blackfoot Trail and 46th Avenue S.E. just after 12 p.m.
The patient was taken to Foothills Hospital in non-life-threatening condition with a serious injury, according to EMS.
Police are now looking for a flatbed truck. It’s possible the driver didn’t see the pedestrian or was unaware the pedestrian had been struck, police said.
