A popular Calgary eatery will be closed for at least the next couple of days after a car smashed into it Sunday afternoon.
Police were called to The Beltliner shortly after 5 p.m. when they found the wreckage. It appeared the car had struck another vehicle before smashing into the restaurant, which was closed at the time.
No one was hurt.
Earlier in the day the eatery had been at capacity, advertising a 30-minute wait for a table.
After the crash, The Beltliner took to social media to share photos and thank customers for their support.
