A rollover on Tsuut’ina Nation sent two teens to hospital Saturday afternoon.
Paramedics were called to Bullhead Road on the reserve southwest of Calgary at around 1:20 p.m. to respond to the crash.
They found two female occupants in their late teens inside the vehicle, which had landed on its roof, according to EMS.
Initially, STARS air ambulance was called because it was thought at least one of the teens was trapped and needed to be extricated.
But EMS and fire crews were able to gain access to them faster than expected and STARS was stood down.
The pair was taken to Foothills hospital in serious but stable non-life threatening condition.
No other vehicles or patients were involved.
Tsuut’ina Nation Police Service and RCMP are investigating the cause of the crash.
