Mounties believe alcohol was a factor in a serious rollover north of Airdrie that sent a woman to hospital early Wednesday.
RCMP and EMS responded to the QE2 Highway south of Highway 72 just after midnight to respond to the crash.
When they arrived, they found the female driver and lone occupant in an upside-down vehicle at the scene.
The 35-year-old woman was extricated and taken to Foothills Hospital in non-life-threatening condition. She was later released.
Roads were briefly closed in the area but have since reopened.
