Thousands of Calgarians took part in the Nagar Kirtan parade in Martindale on Saturday. The Nagar Kirtan is a Sikh tradition in which the procession sings hymns and hands out food as they walk through the community. The Dashmesh Cultural Centre organizes the event each year.
