The bill is in the mail.
Friday, the City of Calgary closed out its week by dropping 480,000 tax bills into the mail, to be received by some 480,000 residential and non-residential properties next week.
With payment due by June 30 anyone who doesn’t receive their tax bill by the first week of June should contact 311.
Late fees will be applied otherwise.
However, the city says the deadline doesn’t apply for those in the Tax Instalment Payment Plan, and that help is available for eligible low-income homeowners.
