A reminder to Calgarians looking to drive about the city this Sunday morning — priority will be given to those on foot.
Multiple roadways will be closed to traffic to make way for this year’s Scotiabank Calgary Marathon.
Sunday’s marathon and 50 km runs start at 7 a.m., as does the half marathon, while the 10 km run starts at 7:30 a.m., the kids marathon starts at 10 a.m. and the 5 km run starts at noon.
In all four quadrants of the city various streets will be either completely shut down, partially shut down or open only to local traffic.
Some closures will last a couple of hours, some will last several hours.
To help you plan your travel accordingly, the complete, downloadable list of roads closed and how long their be closed for is available online at calgarymarathon.com
