Speed and alcohol are believed to be factors in a collision that resulted in the death of a man on Saturday.
Airdrie Rural RCMP said officers responded to the fatal two-vehicle collision near Range Road 285 and Highway 564 just before midnight. Police said a motorcycle struck the side of a Dodge Ram truck while it was turning off Range Road.
The 32-year-old driver of the motorcycle died. Police said his name will not be released.
Two people who were in the truck sustained minor injuries and were released on the scene.
No charges have been laid.
