RCMP are investigating two unrelated sexual assaults that took place in Banff on Friday night.
One woman was walking alone on the south area of Banff Avenue at around 1 a.m. when she was approached and sexually assaulted by a man in his 20’s, who was described as a tall caucasian with blonde hair.
Another women was sexually assaulted when she was walking near Lynx Street just before midnight on Friday when she was approached by a black man that was 5’6″ tall.
The RCMP doesn’t have any information indicating a link between the two incidents. They’re asking residents to report any information they may have regarding the assaults.
