Calgary police asking for the public's help in armed robbery investigation

The Calgary Police Service is looking for tips from the public in relation to an armed robbery at a southeast liquor store in June. 

According to police, a man walked into the T&T Liquor Store at 4608 17 Ave. S.E. at about 7 p.m. on Thursday, June 23, approached the counter, pulled a large knife and demanded money. The man fled with an undisclosed amount of money.

The CPS released photos and video Monday of a man suspected to be involved in the incident.

Police say the suspect is between 35 and 45 years old, about five-foot-eight, 260 pounds, with a black goatee and beard, black hair, brown eyes and a heavy build. He was wearing an orange University of Tennessee hoodie and blue jeans.

Investigators are asking anyone with information about the identity of the suspect to contact their non-emergency number at 403-266-1234, or to call Crime Stoppers anonymously at 1-800-222-8477.
