Calgary police say a man accused in a 2013 attempted murder has fled.
Canada-wide warrants have been issued for Chayce Anthony Krause, 21, who disappeared from his approved residence sometime Aug. 26 while on house arrest awaiting court proceedings in connection to the Dec. 31, 2013 shooting of a 33-year-old man.
Krause is believed to no longer be in Calgary.
The evening of the shooting, the victim was found shot in a home in the 40 block of Athlone Rd. S.E.
Krause was arrested Jan. 8, 2014.
Krause is described as a white man, 5-foot-7 and slim, with brown hair and brown eyes — he was last seen wearing black pants, a black nylon zip-up jacket and carrying a backpack.
Anyone with information about Krause’s whereabouts is asked to call police at 403-266-1234 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS.
