One man is dead following a two-vehicle collision on Highway 22 near Claresholm Sunday.
According to EMS, paramedics responded to a collision between a sedan and an SUV at 11:45 a.m. Sunday.
The incident took place on Highway 22, north of Highway 520.
The driver of the sedan, believed to be middle-aged, was declared dead at the scene by paramedics.
The adult male driver of the SUV was flown by Stars air ambulance to Foothills hospital with multiple non-life-threatening injuries.
A section of Highway 22 is closed as RCMP investigate the collision.
According to Crowsnest Pass RCMP, the closed area spans from the intersection at Highway 533 south to the intersection of Highway 520.
