He climbs construction cranes to their highest peak and taunts death as he walks across slender beams, relying on nothing but his own grip to avoid falling to certain death.

The thrill-seeker recently took his exploits to Calgary’s skyline, scaling a downtown crane to heights where cars below looked like little specks.

A GoPro camera captured footage of him stepping across the crane’s beams, and at times sitting on them as his feet dangled, all the while wearing no safety gear to protect him from a violent fall.

“It’s a rather foolish thing to do,” Acting Det. Jack Russell said. “I believe the investigators would like to speak with him to clarify some points and maybe give him some good advice.”

Another video posted to the thrill-seeker’s YouTube channel shows him dangling from support beams beneath a railroad bridge that stretches across a deep canyon.

The young man, who goes by the name Epinerein for his YouTube account, has made several videos using cranes in downtown Vancouver.

The daredevil relies on nothing but his cat-like sense of balance and the grip of his hands to avoid falling to his death.
