A man in his 40s was taken to hospital with a slash wound to the head Wednesday night following an altercation in southwest Calgary.
Officers were called around 8:30 p.m. to a home in the 1400 block of 39th Street S.W. in the community of Rosscarrock to respond to a stabbing, said Det. Andy Nguyen.
The man had made his way outside the home and paramedics met him in the 1600 block of 38th Street S.W., said EMS spokesman Stuart Brideaux.
He was taken to Foothills Hospital in serious but stable, non-life threatening condition, Brideaux said.
A second man was arrested and is facing charges, Nguyen said.
The victim is not co-operating with the investigation, he added.
