Two people have been arrested in connection with the December 2013 death of a Calgary man.
Anthony James Fernandez, 19, was found dead in a vehicle on Dec. 27, 2013, in the 1200 block of Colgrove Avenue N.E. in Bridgeland.
Last month, police released new details of the homicide in hopes it would encourage people with information on the case to come forward.
Police said that based on autopsy results, Fernandez died in the early hours of Christmas Day 2013. He was found two days later in a 2009 dark maroon Mazda 6 that had been set on fire intentionally.
The fire destroyed much of the evidence inside the vehicle, police added.
The names of those arrested and further details will be released once charges have been laid, police said.
