Mounties are after an unknown man after he was seen leaving a Rocky View County residence carrying a pair of large duffel bags, loading them into a stolen vehicle and fleeing.
Airdrie Rural RCMP were called to the area of Rolling Acres Drive about 1:30 p.m. on Jan. 18, and arrived to find the home’s door had been kicked in and whoever broke in had stolen various electronics, jewelry and identification.
Police are looking for a white male with tanned or darker skin, between 25 and 30 years old, 5-foot-8 to 6-feet tall, with a slender to average build and short dark hair.
The vehicle he was seen leaving in was a grey or silver Honda SUV, which turned out to be stolen from a Calgary location earlier that day.
Anybody with information about the incident is asked to call the Red Deer RCMP at 403-343-5575, or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS.
