Officers are investigating reports of a shooting in southwest Calgary after bullet holes dotted a home early Wednesday.
A resident living in Springbank Mews S.W. went to investigate after hearing some noises just before 6 a.m. and discovered several bullet holes in the front of the house, said duty inspector Phil Hoetger.
There were two adults at home at the time but neither was injured.
They don’t have a description on a suspects or a suspect vehicle.
“It was bullet holes to just one residence but we don’t believe it was random bullets flying through the community,” Hoetger said.
“It was obviously targeted to one residence but we are still trying to confirm the motive and whether this was the correct (intended) residence.”
Hoetger said police are working to determine what kind of rounds were used, adding none of them entered the home.
Officers are also looking to see whether there was any private surveillance that would have captured any of the activity.
