A man has died after being flown to hospital with life-threatening injuries Saturday morning after a motorcycle crash in southern Alberta.
EMS were called to the area of Highway 842 and Highway 534 about 20 km east of Vulcan shortly after 10 a.m. for reports of a crash.
When they arrived, they found a damaged motorcycle in a ditch and a lone rider, a 50-year-old man, with serious traumatic and internal injuries.
He was taken by ground ambulance to the Vulcan Community Health Centre, then transported by STARS air ambulance to hospital in Calgary.
The crash is under investigation.
