Okotoks Mounties are searching for a man who reportedly posed as a police officer and pulled over a driver last week.
RCMP say on July 21, a vehicle was pulled over at 112th Street West in DeWinton by a man who had red and blue flashing lights on his vehicle.
The man asked the driver to to provide her driver’s licence and registration before taking the documents back to his vehicle.
He then returned, told the driver to slow down and that he was fining her $200 and three demerit points.
The man is described as Caucasian, about 20 years old to early 30s, with short dark hair, short facial hair and stubble, dark eyes, a slim build, and a long face with a square chin.
